To all those Collectors, Friends, Dealers and people who loved Mary, I am sad to say that on 29 November 2008, she lost her fight with Gall Bladder Cancer. We found out 2 years earlier and Mary kept her positive happy attitude until the end. It was only the last month that we knew what a heavy toll it was taking on her.

Thank you for your support in building "A Grand Scale." She was so proud and overwhelmed by the interest and joy that her Bears and Needlework brought to people. It was fulfilling for her as well as a legacy to have her work all over the world. I loved to hear her tell me to which countries she was sending her bear or needlework.

Please hold her work dear to you, as she poured so much love and tenderness into each and every piece.

For those who would like to view her work, the website: www.agrandscale.com will remain up for viewing only for a limited time. All remaining inventory is being kept in the private collection of the family.
